The Victorian Tradition
The Victorian Tradition is a composite Pagan tradition formed from the blending of Eclectic Witchcraft and Greek Hekateanism.
From Eclectic Witchcraft we acquire our celebratory system. We celebrate the turning of the Seasons in the form of the eight Celtic Sabbats: Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, and Mabon. We also acknowledge the need for spiritual diversity that Eclecticism brings. For this reason our scope of cultural worship shall include all ancient cultures whose deities are conductive to a Pagan lifestyle.
Hekateanism is the worship of the Greek Goddess Hekate, whom represents learning, knowledge and wisdom. From Hekateanism we acquire our system of learning. All levels of spiritual advancement within the temple are based on Hekatean ideals and spiritual guidelines, not the specific worship of the Goddess Hekate, nor is the worship of Hekate required of any member.
Hierarchy
Covenant of the Crossroads is led by the Elders Council which is overseen by the Executive Officers. The Representative Committee consists of the Representatives of each group within the temple. There are also be two spiritual representatives of the God and Goddess for the temple elected each year through lottery. These leaders are chosen from the Elders of the temple and fulfill the offices of the Domina Atra and the Dominus Ater. Collectively these DomKi bring an essence of the divinity they represent to each meeting and circle and sit on the Representative and Executive Committees.
